Meet our team

Rachael Tamayo 

 is an award-winning author of romance, suspense and best selling author of thrillers and a general lover of books.  She serves as COO and, with numerous years of experience in editing, is the head of Foster Embry's editing department. Rachael has worked with both publishing houses and self-published authors. A former 911 operator and veteran police dispatcher,  she's also no stranger to the dark side of life and the human condition.

  Rachael lives with her husband and their two kids in Houston, Texas.

Cynthia Austin 

Cynthia has also been known to read manuscripts and do content editing. 

Cynthia began writing for Yahoo! Voices in early 2014 before publishing her first Young Adult Trilogy. Shortly after, she released another novel. It was through these endeavors that she met a group of wonderful authors who together, decided they wanted to create a publishing house that is run by authors, for authors. 

As an author, Cynthia understands the struggle of marketing books and works with Foster Embry in maintaining it's social media pages, editing, and acquisitions department.
