Our Business Model

We are not a vanity press.

A vanity press is a company that you pay to publish your work. This arrangement works for some authors, but is not our type of publishing. We pay for the editing, cover, and hosting, and when we publish a manuscript it becomes available in both digital and paperback formats.

How do our authors get paid?

At this time, we are unable to offer advances to our authors. Our authors get paid when people buy their books. Statements and payments go out monthly, starting about 60 days after publication when royalties start to come in.

What do we request from authors?

We ask that authors actively participate in their own publicity, as we are, at this time, unable to launch full-scale publicity campaigns. We do have a marketing director, however, who is available to coach authors as they embark on the job of self-promotion.
